Bristol's Zun Zun Egui have been loitering at the fringes of the Great Music Scene (genres are lame, no one cares about you any more, genres) for a few years, but now they finally seem ready to step into the light. And what a strange animal reveals itself in that hot lamp glow: a weird, tropical bird that's weird because it enjoys listening to Talking Heads, Os Mutantes, and jazz records, and the only other tropical bird I know who's into anything remotely that outre is this guy. Here, Bass Clef turns up and fucks around with the sound even more, strapping an explosive club beat to the bird and sending it off into the sky to seek out and kill boring people and genres.
