When Deftones mastermind Chino Moreno was recently linked to a "witch house" side project called ††† (Crosses), the music-nerd Internet pretty much went crazy. Was this a statement, a gag or an honest musical transformation? Well, on Dawn Golden and Rosy Cross' remix to "Bermuda Locke†," it seems pretty legit. This is really a ghoulish torch song. "I gotta tell you something," he sings, followed by a disembodied voice moaning all melancholic and operatic in the background as the track marches into gothic climax.
