Smoke DZA’s Rolling Stoned LP is due on August 30 via Cinematic Music Group and just like his previous releases—including last year’s George Kush Da Button mix tape—he has assembled an all-star lineup of features. The album’s lead single “On The Corner,” is an immediate standout, with a double dose of Southern hospitality oozing out over one of Big K.R.I.T.’s trademark beats, heavy with strings. DZA lights up a quick one during the first few seconds of the track, then takes on the first verse, while Bun B and K.R.I.T. follow suit, each spitting their tales about the bleak realities of life on the streets, specifically, on the corner.
