Jens Lekman has always been a funny cookie, and when he announced the new An Argument With Myself EP for September, he made sure we all knew this was "a little taste of what's not to come." Maybe too bad? Lekman is at his catchiest on the title track, crossing a poppier conception of Paul Simon with expectedly hilarious lyrics. "Shut up," he pleas. "No, you shut up!" The vocals go sassy and fast, rambling through street argument stories on different continents in a way that makes us think someone should snatch Lekman up for a rap feature sooner than later.
