Cole’s debut album Cole World: The Sideline Story is finally scheduled to arrive via Roc Nation in September, but until then, the “Fayettenam” native—that’s Fayetteville, North Carolina—has promised to drop a new track, or several tracks, every single Sunday. The announcement was accompanied by the five-track EP Any Given Sunday #1, bearing one of his early creations: “Unabomber.” On the stripped-down, self-produced beat, Cole showcases his uncanny ability for storytelling, rapping about his money struggles, deadbeat dads and his budding rap career, which is now primed and ready to blow up.
