I like that this is the first track Visions of Trees play when they play live. Why do I like it? Well, really the only reason I can give at the moment will be a fairly obtuse one for many readers, but, given the appetite for the beautiful game I've seen from Americans this summer, I shall continue. There is a small, French man named Gael Clichy who used to play for a football team called Arsenal, in London. Gael has a few talents, but chief among them is his ability to read the play and intercept a pass. He does this so many times, that he when walks past people in the street, they should be allowed to shout: "Hey, there's that small, French man who is good at interceptions." Similarly, "sorrrow" intros Visions of Trees as a live band adept at claiming real human sorrow from dubstep's darkest corners. They're defined by a strange, clubber mourning, a whole, horrible iceberg of pain and electricity of which "sorrrow" is just the tip.
