No disrespect to our favorite French sylph, but this Kap10Kurt refit of “Que Veux Tu” isn’t really about Yelle. Rather, her pop-lite voice is just another instrument in the mix—a pretty, sweeping instrument for sure, but no more headlining than the chirpy samples, dreamweaver synths, or puffy paint beats. Which is cool with us, because with that equal teamwork, the whole thing manages to end up sounding like how cotton candy tastes.
