2011 might just be the year of the narcotic anthem. For every atmospheric Drake track that becomes a car stereo staple, there's a new indie contender like DWNTWN that also makes catchy melancholy pop out of watery elements. This one, "Hungry Hearts," is exactly the sort of song that Lil B would loop and spit his sweet nothings over, so Skeet Skeet made that happen. The rest, a torch song with heavy bass and twinkling electronics, could be sung by thousands during some festival twilight in the near future.
