Derek Allen, a longtime Mad Decent co-producer with Diplo, is finally getting a personal coming out party with the new DJA EP. And really, is there any better way to celebrate than with a Police cover? Here, Allen takes dubstep production to a southern hip-hop club with his unique version of the great "Spirits In The Material World." The sonics are as crisp as you would expect, but it's Allen's abilities with vocals and arrangement that will keep us looking for what he does next. DJA is out today on Mad Decent.
