Brooklyn label Electric Cowbell racked-up a serious stack of 7-inch singles over its first year, and now all that vinyl will get the big anthology treatment on 101 Things To Do In Bongolia. Here's a little sample from Superhuman Happiness -- a band lead by saxophonist Stuart Bogie of Antibalas, TV On The Radio and Iron & Wine fame. On "GMYL," the group turns a Zappa-inflected melody into dance pop, mixing keyboards, trumpet, woodwinds and electronic drums into a more accessible, lighter version of New York's weirdo downtown dance music of yore. The full compilation is available June 28.
