PREMIERE: Digital Leather - Sea Of Hate
Infinite Sun is one of those albums that's more biography than mere collection of tracks. Shawn Foree is the brains behind Digital Leather, who started blowing up with 2009's Fat Possum-released Warm Brother. The passing of friend and manager Jay Reatard brought a swift break from music and move to Berlin, and only now has Foree returned to the grid. Rather than pick up the pieces, "Sea Of Hate" demonstrates Digital Leather's shift to a more DIY approach in both process and product, a change that has benefitted his electro-infused blend of grime pop.
