There are two types of person in the world. The first set arrive at a Monday, after a weekend of witless indulgence, and find that the work environment clashes horribly with the hangover still lurking in their brains. Essentially, these people can't take the chaos, while the second type of person is someone for whom a brutal reintroduction to the world of work and responsibility is no more painful than a playful flick on the ear lobe. The Invisible's remix of Underworld's "Diamond Jigsaw" will confuse the former and delight the latter, its emotionally ambiguous house chords sending out mixed messages – what, exactly, is this track trying to say? Should we be happy? Or sad? Maybe we should just let it wash over us like some weird liquid and be nothing? So many possibilities, and this is only one of two remixes The Invisible have put together for a Diamond Jigsaw remix EP that also carries reworkings from Manic Street Preachers' James Dean Bradfield and Jacob Plant.
