Nightriders' remix of "Little White Doves" is a house track, but it if were, in fact, a real house, it'd be a recently abandoned one, littered with what police officers habitually refer to as "paraphernalia". Which isn't to say it's unappealing, it's just that where Dirty Vegas' original was quite blatantly a drugs song (the title in itself is the brand name dealers give to a variety of ecstasy pill), Nightriders' version strips back the honesty leaving only a series of clues. Which isn't to say this is subtle, either; as references to "smiling faces", "coming up" and "getting down" remain in a blasting Ed Banger-esque mix of tin radio electro and post-midnight strobe synths. Find this out with the original (plus more remixes courtesy of Penguin Prison, Ladytron and others) on June 28.
