PREMIERE: Hussle Club - Quaranteenagers
It’s no secret that at RCRD LBL, we love us some Trouble & Bass. So, when we heard they were dropping a new compilation, we jumped. Out today, their latest record to disturb the peace offers tastes from label/crew founder Drop The Lime, Ghostly court prankster Michna, bass-heavy Brooklynite Kingdom, daytrippers Cubic Zirconia, and, our favorite: this tambourine night tremor from Hussle Club. Apparently, “Quaranteenagers” is Prince Terrance’s back-alley ode to the LES, but with its rumbling bassline, staccato beats and baritone-glam vocals, it sounds more to us like a rallying call to leather, lace, and steel.
