For ten years, enigmatic NY-based-funky producer Chris Malinchak's been cranking out the bullish and bouncy through a number of projects/aliases, though it’s his new (and solo) Renaissance EP that’s really got our skinnies in a bunch. “Talk About It,” owes heavily to piano-studded disco, while “The Fourth” flaunts a juicy ‘80s strut.
