The beat on "Blacklight," the eponymous track off Ursa Major’s debut EP, released by our friends at Trouble & Bass, is a funny, fractured thing, slow in places, fast in others, reaching a delicate middle ground in combination. The Nottingham DJs combines house, ambient, tropical, and a whole bunch of other electronic dance influences to create a sound that’s just about as infectious as the flu, but, you know, far more desirable. Blacklight is out now.
