Psych fans take note, Lil Daggers has arrived. With definite nods to the glory days of the genre a la Mr. Morrison, the Miami six-piece hones that base and adds some modern embellishments from there. Lo-fi slow-gos like "Pair Of Lives" provide a platform for some great effects work, whereas the upbeat, reverb-drenched "Past Due" plays the jangly throwback. After a couple of well-received EPs, the band's self-titled debut has finally dropped. Check it out courtesy of fellow Floridians Livid.
