Toddla T loves to dance; so much so that he named his debut album after one. The follow-up to 2009's Skanky Skanky arrives later this year, and this is a remix of the first single to be plucked from it. Young LA producer Dillon Francis takes what is a pretty straight raver anthem and twists its DNA into this cluster of riled-up electronics, ecstatic house chords replaced by the sound of leaking gases and gang "huh"s. The sunlight of Shola Ama's guest vocal tries to break through every so often, but these crepuscular moments soon retreat under the muscle of Francis's beatdown. Not that Toddla won't be moving to this one—that aforementioned new album's called Watch Me Dance, and it'll arrive in the coming months through Ninja Tune.
