At first glance, the title "Sister Wife" might imply a relationship that existed on morally and sexually dodgy ground, but I think the person Alex Winston is singing about is a love rival rather than someone prone to having sex with other family members. There's certainly nothing icky about this—Star Slinger's sugar-sweet remix amps up the synth-y undertones of the original, whilst retaining its prime time radio pop appeal. Alex Winston has a new mini-LP called Sister Wife out now through HeavyRoc.
