Those familiar with Colombian band Quantic And His Combo Barbaro's 2009-released album Tradition In Transition know there is something about the keys, strings and killer syncopation that is undeniable, like on their track "Undelivered Letter". But when linked up with Computer Jay and remixer Daedelus, it becomes an off-kilter version of itself—as if the music were coming out of a jack-in-the-box and your anticipation was too thick, so you cranked it as fast as you could. It has real arcade room-at-the-carnival appeal, but still maintains its Latin roots. It comes from The Caliventura Remix EP, a remix celebration of some tracks from Tradition In Transition (other remixers include Cut Chemist, Jeremy Sole, among others).
