PREMIERE: Lord Huron - When Will I See You Again (White Sea Remix)
Modernist Beach Boys might be the best way to describe LA's Lord Huron's harmonic sunset pop. It's a sound that's tried and true in the indie rock oeuvre, but this band seems to have a greatest grasp on combining carefree and emotive. The perfect parable for "When Will I See You Again" would be a moody haunting and if there was ever a lady who could fill that prescription, it would be White Sea (aka M83's Morgan Kibby). If the original is the day's final dip in the ocean as the sky turns orangey purple, then this remix is the glimmer of stars above the sand as your bonfire finally rolls into a comfortable crackle.
