When we first heard from Sister Crayon back in January, we were transfixed by their mastery of the MPC and singer Terra Lopez's Opera-trained vox. The power of "Same Person" is in its lush yearning, but here we have something a little more ghostly. Brooklyn's Kordan has turned the original into what feels like lost love's linger. It maintains a lot of the original elements, but comes across almost as a memory of the first. Both have the same strength of beauty, but the remix is weightless in its revision. Sister Crayon's album Bellow is out now on Manimal Vinyl.
