For April Fools' Day, Harlem rapper Smoke DZA is dropping his new mixtape, T.H.C., which stands for...The Hustler's Catalog, of course. On new track "Loaded," DZA raps over a signature titanic, caterwauling, and operatic backdrop from Lex Luger, the man responsible for upgrading Rick Ross' yacht into a freighter and for somehow inflating Kanye and Jay-Z's egos on this year's "H.A.M." DZA's laconic, numb-jawed flow is probably due to...being sleepy. But it's packed with one-liners, party phrases, and sharp barbs. Typically, DZA raps over more laid back fare, but he sounds surprisingly comfortable in this eerie, humongous sound world. It seems like the guy can rap over just about anything.
