It's hard to be weird these days. Conventional weirdness is just about done—no one freaks out when they see a punk rocker, a ventriloquist or someone with a beard on the street any more. That shit's tame. What you need to do if you wanna be weird is take an unskilled labour job in a factory for a couple of weeks, stay on late each evening recording the noises the machines make, and then run around screaming and throwing teacups at your co-workers whilst wearing an Aphex Twin "Come To Daddy" mask until the police come. That's the sort of thing that'll get you noticed—which is presumably why you're now busy getting your ears around this remix of CLOUT!'s "Maxwell's O" by Tom Furse from The Horrors. This is taken from CLOUT!'s debut EP, which is out soon.
