Mississippi MC maestro BIG K.R.I.T. is back. After the success of last year's K.R.I.T. Wuz Here, K.R.I.T. returns in 2011 with a new mixtape, Returnof4eva, featuring a bevy of trunk rattlers and hazy, spacy sounds. He mashes the cosmic and the crunk together on "Time Machine," where his flow—part Pimp C in voice, part Scarface in delivery—glides over a beat bursting with psychedelic synth patterns, gooey guitar licks, skittering hi-hats, and backslapping snares. H-Town hero Chamillionaire even drops by towards the end to provide the assist, and you might find yourself muttering the chorus for a few weeks after you hear it a couple times. You can find Returnof4eva with a little search browser finagling, and then you can find yourself playing it like crazy for the next few months.
