Young Legionnaire's "Chapter, Verse" has a familiar quality that I can't quite place in any music memory. What I am certain of, though, that the very lush riffs are quite satisfying and the vocals garner so much power, they almost feel lustful. The London band was formed by Gordon Moakes of Bloc Party and Paul Mullen formerly of yourcodenameismilo. With the sense of power that goes into each bit of this track, you can tell it's not made by freshmen. Now that they've finished a stint touring with RCRD LBL faves Les Savy Fav, they're off to SXSW. Crisis Works, their debut album, is out May 10 on Witchita.
