PREMIERE: Helvetia - Arise Pt. 1
Make no mistake, there is no "c" missing from the end of this band's name. Seattle's Helvetia is named after the eponymous personification of Switzerland (a woman with long-flowing, braided hair who represents the country), childhood home to member Jason Albertini. He was also part of space rock band Duster and you can feel that influence throughout "Arise Pt. 1". But instead of being straight up whirly rocket ship rock, the track is also packing calming bordello sounds, particularly when the soothing vocals kick in. Catch it on their upcoming album On The Lam out April 12 on The Static Cult.
