We're getting very close to celebrating ten years of Parts & Labor and with their continuous experiments to their sound, it will be something fun to celebrate. "Rest" is a droning drive, the drums slightly mimicking the clocks in the lyrics. But even with all that feedback, there is something slumbering and soothing that comes from this song. The hook, catchy as ever, slowed down could almost be a lullaby. It comes from their upcoming release, Constant Future, out March 8 on Jagjaguwar.
