I've never taken acid, but I imagine it must be something like listening to this song. I'm not trying to pull some "hey this song is tOTeZ zAnY like Korallreven jamming with Gang Gang Dance and Abba in the wreckage of a car crash on acid" shit, it's just that this Berou and Canblaster remix of Crystal Fighters' "At Home" feels a little like the opening up of some existential abyss. It's so formless. I feel I could listen to this a million times and still not have a firm handle on it. Best just to file under "experimental pop" and enjoy it rather than attempting to make sense of all the exploding parameters and its rad lack of genrelessness.
