Though his press shot might lead you to believe he's just another bro, there’s a track in the recesses of Will Roush’s catalog produced by the late, great beatman J Dilla, and the young rapper’s first mixtape had the dual co-signs of DJ Skee and Whoo Kid. On pedigree alone, this dude is worthy of your time. His new EP Live It Up is so named for the glossy, Fliptones-assisted lead track, though we’ve decided to show our support by gifting the brass-and-keyed-up flow of “1 Of A Kind,” one of the EP’s other joints (and our favorite). And of course, the hilarious, name-dropping, funky bass Dilla track that started it all. Want more?
