Noah and the Whale and Fake Blood aren't obvious bedmates, but then this remix of "L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N." isn't the sort of music you put on to fall asleep to; the former's rushing strings locked to the latter's insistent electro beat and discharged from duty there on in like a bumpkin's straw hat being tossed into smokey clubland air. I'm not sure it's wholly representative of what's to come on Noah and the Whale's new album Last Night On Earth (even if that title is full of hedonistic potential) but with its samples of baited breath and crashing drops it certainly builds the excitement.
