That John Hughes swag is taking its sweet time to completely re-infiltrate our earwaves, but while we wait for the full takeover, DyE's "Fantasy" is one for the replay button. The track is a great reminder that synthesizers don't always have to be upbeat and that melancholic pop can be satisfying in happy times. It's not last prom on earth, more a soundtrack for an in public pine session. Or, you could just get lost in the dreaminess of the record. DyE's Fantasy EP is out now with remixes from Clement Meyer, among others. It's the first single from his upcoming album TAKI 138 out in March on Tigersushi.
