PREMIERE: Los Rakas - Kalle

The last time we hooked you up with a jam from these two Oakland-via-Panama dudes, Los Rakas, it was all about laid back purple smoke. "Kalle" is still a reflection of their own blend of reggae, dancehall and hip-hop, but this one is tougher. If you like your rap with faster drums and almost Kraftwerk-influenced beats, then this one is for you. They've also crafted the perfect visuals to go along with the jam—shot in four out of the five boroughs this past July when the guys in NYC to play shows. From kicking it on the stoop or roof to the requisite bodega shots, the locales couldn't be more suited to a song whose title translates to "street" in English.
