Sometimes it's fun to give a catalogue a little refresher, be it blasting it as loud as you on some nostalgia trip or, even better, taking your favorites, handing them over to your friends and giving them a go at it. Tittsworth's December-released Remixes EP did that to a handful of his jams from 2008's 12 Steps, including this refit of "Tear The Club Up" by DC don Steve Starks. Taking the brass section from the original and turn it into something bassier, Starks has still maintained the party vibes of the original but flipped it a bit darker. You can cop the rest of the remixes here, but the Dillon Francis mix of "911" is up now at Tittsworth's new site. Even if you're planning to pick the remixes up in a package, it's worth venturing over there. Aside from the standard issue artist site, it features culture news and other editorial content.
