And no, that vinyl type isn’t insinuating that the obtuse lo-fi tastes better with a throat drip. Get your mind out of the gutter! Besides, everyone knows the duo’s psych-trawl is far better enjoyed with a lungful of smoke. “Blue Dream”’s hazy beats and spongy arrangements half touch on pop, industrial, and dub without ever committing to anything more than sounding like small budget horror scores. Which is rad.
