It's not hard to see that Alex Clare has hook-ups with Switch and Diplo. The party pair have produced the London singer's new album (out in June) and their presence is very evident here, even if SBTRKT's the man mucking around with the source material. What starts in a crush of metallic guitars ends in the persuasive bounce of club bass. There's not a great deal more to it than that, and why should there be? Diplo and Switch have dedicated their lives to distilling good time sounds down til they're as pure as this half-empty vodka bottle on my desk. When confronted with such fine art, it seems rude to talk too much.
