Pulling tracks off mixtapes feels a little weird to me. It reminds me of the days I used to record Mike Davies' Lock Up show off the radio (because it ran from 2am till 4am on a school night) and then record the highlights onto a second tape. The quality loss was significant, but that didn't matter so much when you were sat in your room listening to Bad Brains or V.O.I.D. If Kid Sister or Gucci Mane had been around in them days I think they would've been pretty pissed, but thankfully MP3s don't suffer like tape reels did; and this cut from Kid Sister's Kiss Kiss Kiss mixtape sounds even better in isolation, playground pop chants bouncing around with orgasm cries and laconic, straight-faced bass swells.
