PREMIERE: Chilly Gonzales - You Can Dance (Gemini Club Remix)

No doubt that Chilly Gonzales is a favorite among T&A enthusiasts after the debut of his video of "You Can Dance" last week, which is racked in a bounty of booties and boobies grooving to the music. Dude is tapping into a sound that would fit in the Jackson family oeuvre, particularly vibing something like Janet's "Go Deep". That video had its own fantasy element, featuring a guy daydreaming of a house party after his folks leave him alone for the night. If I were going to write a treatment for a visual component for this, Gemini Club's re-imagining of "You Can Dance", I'd have to throw in some on-the-couch careening and kitchen make out scenes. The remix is high octane ebullience—the kind of thing you want to have playing when you've gathered your friends and their friends and their friends for a kegger and Mom and Dad's. Just don't spill anything on the piano. Pretty sure avid ivory tickler, Chilly, would be none too thrilled about that. But if you do, you can make it up to him by copping his album Ivory Tower, out now, or the You Can Dance single in March, both on Arts & Crafts.
