PREMIERE: CREEP - Days (Azari & III Remix)

We’re calling it early: 2011 is the year of the witch. It has to be, with dark queens CREEP and their cadaverous beats at the helm, inspiring us mortals to dance to our deaths. In preview single “Days”, guest vocalist Romy Madley-Croft (The xx) lends her wraithy pipes to temper CREEP’s goth tones and drippy shoegaze. In this Azari & III rinse, that spectral nuance is retained even as the track morphs into six minutes of buoyant Chicago house. More from the Brooklyn duo (comprised of hometown heroes Lauren Flax and Lauren Dillard) can (and should) be copped on Young Turks.
