If we defined ourselves by where our parents grew up, then half of the blood flowing through my veins is grim Rochester red and for those unfamiliar with the Upstate New York elements, it gets cold there. Very, very two-feet-of-snow-ain't-no-thang cold and thus I have been dictating my winter warrior arsenal since I was old enough to declare I wanted turquoise snow pants instead of pink ones. You can find me in the street, donned in a enormous Siberian army coat, ugly as sin (but super effective!) snow boats and Bjork-style knit hood.
