PREMIERE: The Streets - Going Through Hell (Dot Rotten Remix)
I love and admire Mike Skinner to the extent that if I woke up tomorrow and I somehow was him, I don't think I'd tell anyone. Dot Rotten's remix of "Going Through Hell" is less reverential, cutting the original's Zeppelin-esque guitars (was former The Music frontman Robert Harvey called in for the chorus before or after they were added?) and pasting goofball grime-pop synths in their place. As long as Skinner's voice is there, though, it's never gonna be anything other than The Streets. Love you Mike – will def be buying your new album Computers and Blues when it arrives February 7 through 679.
