DOWNLOAD: Kopecky Family Band - Howlin' At The Moon

There is no categorical ethos of a band compromised of family members. From the glossy pop preening of the Jonas Brothers to the wailing riffs of Heart, the only thing to pinpoint is that the strength of a band-bond is even more stalwart when the members share bloodlines. Clever and catchy is the Kopecky Family Band. They have fashioned a sound deeply rooted in the spirit of their hometown, Nashville. Composed of extremely tight musicianship—from the strings to vocals—is "Howlin' At The Moon". It's a folksy, but modern romp found on their EP Of Epic Proportions, the follow-up to their The Disaster EP (wakka, wakka). But don't take folksy as a deterrent. There's a songwriting craftsmanship on this joint that only comes from the cohesiveness of players that are tied together and these guys are, well, a family band.
