Duo The Hundred In The Hands are straight psychedelic-crusin' smoothed out post-punk grooves. "Pigeons" is all strong basslines, soothing vocals, dance club percussion and gripping with the ability to make you vomit up sparks (as in, your guts expurgate a fiery explosion, not rid itself of the orange, previously-caffeinated malt beverage). The track suits up quite nicely for a hang sesh with your favorite rule-breakers, flask tucked neatly at your waistline. But if a night careening with a go-go goth is more your bag, then this remix by Danish producer/DJ Screen Tests—where slowing down the tempo and dark, hymnal house vibes are favored—is the move.
