This kinda sorta sounds like someone took Suckers' "Before Your Birthday Ends" to a haunted house and left it there. Then Noah Rubins recovered it, but it was still infused with some little ghosties. Is that ridiculous? It's ridiculous. What's really going on in this remix, though, is the maintenance of a lot of the original form of "Before Your Birthday Ends" but Noah Rubins has enhanced it with some subtly otherworldly sounds, although not all scary—revenant layered vocals, but ethereal synths. So maybe Noah Rubins rescused this song from aforementioned bewitched locale and brought back into the light.
