You'll recognise these synths when you hear them—they're those ludicrous, helter-skelter synths that build to a point where they sound like they're about to collapse off the side of a building with vertigo, before woozily climbing back down. You hear them a lot, but that's understandable, as they're essentially as close as anyone's ever gonna get to turning drug anxiety into sound. Silver Columns' original version of "Brow Beaten"'s out now through Moshi Moshi, while Disco Of Doom also have reason to celebrate, after signing recently with Discobelle.
