Children's game Telephone was always most fun when someone in the group's selective hearing or purposeful reinvention turned the original message-sender's secret on its head. Here, Fool's Gold DJ/producer Sammy Bananas and house diva Maggie Horn are playing that game with "Hold Me", their first original composition as duo Telephoned. They're already known for taking current hip-hop and R&B faves and re-purposing them into their own vision, so why would they let their own song be? Here are two versions—a shorter mix of the original and a cover, flipping the first from its twinkling, synth-driven force into a lullaby guitar sweetheart joint.
