Press play on this Team Ghost remix of their "To The Lighthouse", you'd be excused for not hearing Wild Palms' garage roots. That's garage as in club garage—2step snare and bass shuffle, divas, cava, loafers and cocaine. But listen close, and you'll hear in Lou Hill (vocals, keys, pads) the reticent yearn of all garage's singing women, surrounded in this instance by the fluttering synths and anxious strings that have become Team Ghost's trademark. I can't imagine it'll ever get played at any of the "horrible basements in Tottenham" where Lou MC'd as a kid, but that's nothing to start weeping about.
