PREMIERE: Soft Circle - Treading Water
Soft Circle is a project from artist/musician/Boredoms collaborator/positive vibes merchant Hisham Bharoocha, formerly of the mighty Black Dice. For most people familiar with his work, just that band name would evoke feelings of murky, ethereal electronically made mind music. But "Treading Water" takes influence from his earlier, trippier work and turns it into something brighter—a trend that appears all over his excellent new album Shore Obsessed. It's out now on Dean Spunt from No Age's label Post Present Medium. He's also the bandleader of the inimitable Our Show, hosted by RCRD LBL chieftain Elliot Aronow, so all is full of love over here.
