The Pet Shop Boys provided me with the best moment of my adult life when they closed their Primavera set with "West End Girls" back in May, so I'm pretty much obliged to fawn over anything that sounds remotely like them forever. Obviously this remix of Home Video's "The Automatic Process" falls neatly into that category or that preamble would have been pointless, but San Fran dreampoppers Silver Swans do enough of their own work here: equipping the track with a steely 4/4 drive that readies it for today's clubs. Find the original version on the album of the same name, out November 16.
