This is a straight SoCal collab. DIY-ers and sons of LA, Voxhaul Broadcast are bringing their R&B-tinged, fuzzy indie fuel to "Leaving On The 5th" major. But the remix by mystery men? women? both? We don't really know, as Jump Clubb is actually one of Beverly Hills' best kept secrets—they'll leave the camera flashes to Kim Kardashian, as they won't ever step in front of a lens, even on their own terms. So, whoever they actually are, they've turned "Leaving On The 5th" a little lowkey with added twinkling piano, but also subtle dubstep-influenced undertones making the indie-soul original danceable. These two records are nice companions. Voxhaul Broadcast's self-released debut Timing Is Everything comes out in early 2011.
